Eclisse, Omaggio alla strada, secondo

Environmental installation

Eclisse is me and artist Gianmaria Zanda.

The installation comprised a dark labyrinth constructed from cut-out papers and silver-painted plastics suspended knee-high from the floor in a wide, machine-smoked space.

Visitors entered through a long dark tunnel illuminated only by a light at the end, leading to an initial area where lights from above gently filtered through cube-cut windows. Scattered across the floor were shimmering, dimly lit car tires. On the right, the entrance to the human-sized labyrinth beckoned visitors to explore further.

The installation was linked to a shiny reflecting adesive intervention on the entrance window of the main venue of the festival, Studio Foce.
